The Willis Wonderland Foundation

When legendary Hall of Fame songwriter Allee Willis died, she left behind a legacy that included some of the most iconic songs of all time, including Earth, Wind & Fire's "September" and "Boogie Wonderland," the music for the Broadway show and award-winning movie, The Color Purple, and countless other hits.

Initially brought on to write fundraising content for the Willis Wonderland Foundation—copy that raised hundreds of thousands in auction proceeds—in 2025, I was hired to co-author Willis Wonderland: The Legendary House of Atomic Kitsch, a pop-up book celebrating Allee's iconic home, singular artistry, and infectious joie de vivre.

This project showcases my ability to handle high-profile, creative storytelling that captures the unique vision and personality of extraordinary clients—even when it gives new meaning to the term “ghostwriting.”
